For added convenience we offer a remote control option on a selection of our electric fires and two top control options, the first being controls mounted on the top-side of the fire. We also offer a selection of electric suites with controls located on the topside on the mantel leg.
All our standard gas fires are fitted with a pilot switch and rotary heat controls behind the fret. A number of models are available with controls conveniently located on the top side of the fire.

How long is the flex on your electric fires?
What are the running costs of electric fire?
Running costs can be calculated using the formula below, however they will ultimately depend upon the electric tariff of the customer.
electric tariff (per kW hour) x input power = running cost per hour click HERE to see an example.
For example to calculate the cost of the heat settings, based on a tariff of 10p per kWh multiplied by the high heat setting requiring an input power of 2kW would equal a cost of 20p per hour.
Therefore, on the low heat setting requiring an input power of 1kW, the cost would equal 10p per hour.
The same formula applies when using the flame effect only. Based on a tariff of 10p per kWh multiplied by the input power requirement of the low.
